Bob Kaake, Vice President of Programming &
Strategic Implementation
Bob Kaake joins SRS in 2007 and brings a wealth of strategic programming experience to the team.
Bob spent many years as Regional VP/Programming in Chicago for Clear Channel, in addition to Operations Manager positions at WNUA-FM, which was consistently one of the USA’s highest-ranked Smooth Jazz stations. Bob was also Operations Manager also at WLIT-FM, where he revived the struggling AC to a consistent top-3 performer.
Prior to joining Clear Channel, Bob was Vice President/Programming for Viacom Broadcasting and oversaw programming at Viacom’s stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Washington and Seattle.
Following his tenure at Viacom, he operated his own consultancy, Bob Kaake Radio Strategies and was then recruited to join Sandusky in Seattle as Director of Programming. There, he was responsible for launching Smooth Jazz KWJZ and helping grow the station from #17 to Top-5 Adults 25-54 in less than 18 months.
Bob lives in the Seattle area with his wife.
